I upgraded my camera and added a few additional lens to my collections. I’m suddenly super excited for my pain in the ass business trip to Toronto next month. I’ve got reservations to tasting menus for Momofuku’s Shoto and Splendido.
Bacon Banana Muffins
6 cups Flour
3 tsp Baking Soda
3/4 tsp Salt
1 1/2 cups Butter, soften
2 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
6 eggs 12 Bananas, ripe
1/4 cup Bacon bits
1. Preheat oven 350F. Using paddle whip bananas and transfer to another bowl.
2. Cream sugar and butter. Add one egg at a time. Add bananas.
3. Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl and slowly add to wet ingredients.
4. Grease muffin pan and add batter. Sprinkle bacon and bake 12-15 minutes.

I fired a bunch of people and have been working all over the place. I haven’t had a lot of time to cook but hopefully that’ll change this fall. =) Bacon Banana Muffins were excellent and the guest loved them. How are you?

I’m been keeping busy keeping my nose to he trading grindstone. I’m also working on an HOA painting project (I’m on the Board) and there was a big uproar over house colors. Colors weren’t a big deal to me but to some it was practically life or death. All the discussion and cross discussion drove me nuts…just make a decision…argh!
I wish I had the power to fire people, haha. TGIF!
Why do people try to control other people’s lives? It’s so stupid. As long as the colors are that offensive, who cares? I don’t smoke but that person needs to go smoke a big bowl and eat a pan of brownies. There are people dying from war and starving to death and they’re freaking out over their neighbor’s paint? Something seriously wrong with our society. I’d tell him suck it.
