1 Cup Water

2 Tbsp Sugar (to taste)

1 Tbsp Garlic, Minced

1/2 Tbsp Ginger, Minced

Pinch Black Pepper

1 tsp Sesame Oil

1 Tbsp Sriracha (Optional)

1 Habanero (Optional)

1 Tbspn Cornstarch +3 Tbsp Water

1 Rack of Pork Ribs

This is a basic Korean base sauce  used for marinating meat or mushrooms that can also be used as Teriyaki.  Add soy sauce, water, sugar, garlic and ginger to a small sauce pan and bring to a boil.  Slowly add cornstarch slurry and thicken.  Cool in ice bath and refrigerate till needed.

Slice habanero and add to chilled sauce with Sriracha.  Slice ribs individually and soak in sauce for at least an hour.  In a large pan, lightly oil and bring to medium heat.  Add ribs along with sauce.  Turn once and cook till ribs read 165 F.  Add sesame oil and you may garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.

Easy!
