One of our long term guests is turning 21 and to celebrate his coming of age, I decided to make him a cake of his favourite shot. I was really lazy and so I used a sample cake mix from my office. Not the best idea since it was 1/3 the size of a normal package but stated that it was full sized. So I ended up with two pancakes but he was happy and it tasted like a Vegas Bomb.
Vegas Bomb Cake
1 White or Yellow Cake Mix (I hate premade cake mix but I’m lazy.)
Water
3 oz Crown Royal
3 oz Peach Schnapps
3 oz Malibu Rum
1 Red Bull
2 cups Sugar, Powdered
1/2 cup Butter, room temp
Follow instructions for cake mix and replace half of the water with Vegas bomb liquors. Bake and mix the remaining liquor, powdered sugar, butter and 2 Tbsp of Red Bull for frosting.

Red Bull icing? That’s amazing! Can you make icing out of any soft drink? Like, could I make root beer icing? Cake sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing!
Sure just basically make a buttercream frosting or icing and substitute the milk with extract, flavor or soda. 🙂 I used both red bull and alcohol. Just add more sugar if you put too much.
